[ indeed, ravka is a mess. the new king seems to want to change things for the better, but inej doesn't really hold much stock in the word of ravka, anymore. they hadn't exactly jumped to help her, when she dropped off the face of the earth, which is something asena has never forgiven them for. jardani seems to be a bit more accepting of believing the new king's word. asena is of the mind they can all rot. and inej falls somewhere in between -- not trusting, necessarily, but not actively wishing harm. maybe she should give them more of a chance.
