[ inej has discovered that for someone who does not like being touched, kaz is quickly discovering that certain kinds of touching are enjoyable. he likes hugging her, in particular, and inej is only too happy to oblige, sighing to herself as she lets him wrap his arms around her. ]
Clearly, I was gone for two weeks.

[ she had been meaning to go grocery shopping, and then her mother decided to just have her over every night instead. whoops. and inej tilts her head a little to rest her chin on his chest, lips curving into a faint smile. ]
Something we will need to fix, if I have two people and a bird living in the house.
