still, inej unfolds her legs and rises to her feet, her braid falling along her back. she's wearing long sleeves and pants, covering most of her body, but comfortable. loose. likely not on purpose; as kaz so artfully points out, everyone is bigger than she is. and it isn't as if she had any clothing in the menagerie worth keeping; so inej's clothes are mostly second-hand, until she can earn enough to buy her own.
her fingers curl into her palms as she makes a fist, and she holds up her hands. unlike yesterday, her thumb rests outside of her fist, not curled against her palm. learning, from his obnoxious warning about breaking her thumbs. her hands are bruised, still, from yesterday's fit, but inej doesn't seem to mind or pay it much attention.
