[ her eyes flicker toward him, meeting his gaze after he offers assistance. and she can't help but glance, for a split second, at his hands -- still without gloves, from when he was cleaning up. but he seems serious, at his offer of help. and he had hugged her. so this wouldn't be so bad.
she feels her own anxiety curl around her, almost tempted to tell him no. because he would be invading her space, and touching her in a way that she hadn't been (or, rather, allowed) touched in a long time. but this was kaz. he would never hurt her, or take advantage of her.
